NOTICE TO STUDENTS
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the course content, please contact our School Administrative Office at (800) 776-0307, they will be happy to assist you.
Business Elementary is open to the general public and is licensed by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission to conduct salespersons and broker's pre-licensing courses as well as continuing education core courses.
Any individual who has a physical or mental impairment or limitation described as a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and requires any special accommodation, must contact the school before enrolling. Certain accommodations require the New Jersey Real Estate Commission's advance approval before courses start.
Business Elementary classes will be offered through a subscription payment model. Payment in full is required before the first session, with cash and credit card options available. Failure to pay the full balance before the session will result in the student being unable to continue in class. If the student does not pass the course by the end of the first month, they will only be able to continue by maintaining their subscription. Additionally, any missed class time will count towards the maximum allowable absence of 15%, as described in the course completion section.
CLASSROOM REFUND / TUITION POLICY
All students must read and agree to our School Tuition Refund Policy as written below upon entrance.
Every student that is paid in full will be guaranteed a seat in class. Included in the tuition is a $95 non-refundable registration first month fee for Salesperson Pre-licensing, $300 for Broker Pre-licensing and $10-$20 for Continuing Education. A student may request a refund in writing at the start of class for the refundable portion of the tuition. Written notice must be received by the school up to 48 hours prior to the class start date. Once a class has started, no refunds will be issued. However, if the school cancels a class, the student will receive a full and prompt refund.
Registration may be limited. Registrations are accepted on a first-paid, first confirmed basis. Upon receipt of your registration, you will receive an email confirming your enrollment in the course. Confirmation emails are sent out within 24 hours of receipt of registration (not including weekends). Until you have received a confirmation email, you are not confirmed as enrolled in the course.
Any student who determines that they may not be eligible for licensure, due to their anticipated response to any of the Real Estate Commission's "eight qualifying questions," which will be provided the first day of class, may withdraw their enrollment and receive a full refund provided that they notify their instructor and/or the School Director within 24 hours after the first course segment ends.
Pre-licensed & Broker Courses:
Tuition is due in full prior to scheduled start date or forfeiture of seat may occur. If you are putting a deposit down to hold your seat in class, please make a note to pay the balance of the tuition at least 1 week prior to the start date you have selected.
Students are permitted multiple attempts at the final exam, which is mandatory for the completion of the course. In the event that a student does not achieve a passing grade, up to four retakes will be available for free. We recommend that students take the necessary steps to prepare thoroughly for the final exam to avoid additional expenses and ensure timely progress.
Continuing Education Courses:
Tuition is generally due in full prior to the scheduled start date. However, on certain Special Offers students may be required to register up to 30 days prior to scheduled start date, in order to allow the school additional time to decide to accommodate the increased student volume.
CERTIFICATE OF COURSE COMPLETION
To Obtain a Certificate of Course Completion, all students must receive a passing grade on the final examination of at least 70% and attend at least 80% of the class session hours required for the course. A student may take the final exam up to 4 times. In the event the certificate is lost, a duplicate may be obtained from the school by request. An administrative fee of $10 will be charged for the duplicate.
Students may not miss more than 20% (15 hours) of class time. If more than 20% of class time is missed, the class must be started over. All classes start on time. If a student is more than 15 minutes late to a class either at the start or after a break, that time will be counted toward the 15 hours stated previously.
STUDENT BEHAVIOR/DISCIPLINARY POLICIES
Here is a revised version of the statement with the focus on student behavior/disciplinary policies:
As a professional real estate school, we have established policies that govern student behavior and discipline. It is the responsibility of all students to familiarize themselves with these policies and comply with them at all times. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in disciplinary action, which may include loss of eligibility for course credit. Any disciplinary action will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Our policies encompass a range of behaviors and actions, including but not limited to:
Respectful Conduct: Students are expected to engage in respectful and courteous behavior towards instructors, staff, and fellow students. Any behavior that is disrespectful, discriminatory, harassing, or threatening will not be tolerated.
Attendance: Regular attendance is essential to student success. Students are expected to attend all classes, arrive on time, and participate actively. Excessive absences may impact a student's grade and progress in the course.
Academic Integrity: Students are expected to maintain high academic standards and adhere to principles of academic integrity. Any form of cheating or plagiarism will not be tolerated.
Technology Use: When attending classes online, students must use technology appropriately and responsibly. Unauthorized recording or sharing of class materials is prohibited.
Compliance with Policies: Students must comply with all school policies, including those regarding behavior, attendance, and academic performance.
Any student found in violation of these policies may be subject to disciplinary action, which may include warnings, suspension, or expulsion and may include loss of eligibility for course credit.. We encourage students to reach out to instructors or school staff for guidance or support as needed to help them succeed.

To ensure a productive learning environment, and appropriate compliance with state regulations, students are required to keep their cameras on during the course. Failure to do so will result in an absence for that day. If a student's camera is off for two or more consecutive days, it may affect their eligibility to receive credit for the course.
If a connectivity issue arises during the class, students are advised to contact the school immediately for further instructions. It is our priority to ensure that students receive the education and support they need to succeed in the course.
